A beautiful village that we holidayed at with a group of friends. A truly magical experience to get away from it all.

Azinheiro was a beautiful little village – the kind of place that you'd drive by without ever realising it existed. It has a small taverna run by a wonderfully warm elderly lady, who is the life and blood of the village. I truly recommend this place if you are looking to get away from it all (no wifi!).
I went with Sandy, Helen, Ange, Lisa and Churchy. A complete eclectic mix of friends but we had such a ball. We ate great food, drank wonderful beer (and other beverages) and just relaxed.
I don't think I can even begin to explain the 'three ring challenge' or the rules to our version of waterpolo – in fact the ref didn't know the rules to our version of waterpolo!
I'm just waiting for the rap version of 'The Dooleys' to hit the charts... can't be long!
