I found this book is a bit strange, I enjoyed it in the most part. It's very different and I find it hard to describe...

The book tells the story of a young boy, born unable to speak who works with his family's dogs. It's very deep and challenges the conventions of writing – some chapters are written as if by the dogs. At times I found it mesmerizing, other times I found it overly in depth. I enjoyed the reading. I'm just not sure about the ending, it left me dissatisfied. Had it been different I may have found the book more favourable... weird because it's not sitting with me comfortably!
