Odbody's Private Parts

We take our members' privacy extremely seriously and believe strongly in protecting your personal information.

We make every effort to ensure that your data cannot be accessed by unauthorised parties, or compromised in any way. We will never pass personally identifiable information onto a third party and will use your information for two reasons only:

For the purpose of creating Odbody Moments - for matching you to other members and to help you see who you've inspired and who's inspired you; For our own statistical analysis - to help us to compile demographics and page/functionality information - to see which adverts are viewed the most and what's popular (or not!) through the site. The information that we hold is only ever accessed by a select number of Odbody employees for the purposes of technical support and we will endeavour to access information only with your prior permission.

Your Private Parts

You are able to set your own privacy level for your complete profile, and also for each event that you enter. The default setting for all information is 'public': viewable by all other Odbody members and also available to search engines such as Google or Yahoo. You'll see that we offer four levels of privacy for all of your information ranging from completely public (viewable by all other Odbody members and also available to search engines such as Google or Yahoo), through to completely private (only viewable by you - noone else will see your profile or the event that you've entered). In between, you have the option to allow all friends or select friends to view your entire profile or select events.

In addition to your own privacy settings, we are also concerned that information you post about others is mutually agreed. When you enter information onto your life path or Journal and it contains information about another person or persons, we will ask that that person/persons to verify that it was indeed him/her/them. This helps us to ensure that all information posted is correct, and does not cause discomfort or embarrassment to others. Until another Odbody confirms that they were indeed the person named in your event, the event will remain unconfirmed. From your viewpoint, if someone asks you to confirm that you were connected to an event of theirs, you have the ability to confirm or block the event, and that member from contacting you. In the event that we make changes to this Privacy Policy, members will be emailed and a posting will be made to our website.
